About the course
What is the Confined Space Rescue training?
This course prepares rescuers to safely and effectively perform technical rescues in confined spaces, from the first hazard assessment through to getting the patient out.
Students develop hands-on skills in hazard assessment, patient access and packaging, rope systems, mechanical advantage, retrieval systems, lowering and raising operations, and confined space rescue techniques.
Emphasis is placed on team coordination, risk management, equipment selection and practical problem-solving, with skills practiced in realistic rescue scenarios rather than the classroom alone.
