Train for the call you can't rehearse.

Epix ResQ builds competent technicians, not certificate holders. Hands-on technical rescue training led by a SPRAT Level 3 rope access technician and California State Fire Instructor with 16+ years on real incidents.

Rescue skills that hold up under load

Most training gets a team through the sign-off sheet. That is not the same as being ready. Epix ResQ teaches rope rescue, confined space and vertical access the way they actually run on scene: real anchors, real edges, real problems, and enough repetitions that the skill is still there six months later.

We pull from fire service, industrial rope access, and search & rescue, so your team learns the technique and the reasoning behind it.

Why teams choose Epix ResQ

Fewer students. More rope. Better technicians.

  • Trained by someone still doing the work

Donald Chen is a working firefighter, rope access technician and US&R team member. What you learn in class is what he is using on real incidents, not what a curriculum said ten years ago.

  • Built around your hazards

Silos, towers, vaults, tanks, cliffs, shafts. Tell us what your team responds to and we write the scenarios around it, using your equipment and your standard operating guidelines.

  • Cross-industry, not single-track

Fire service, industrial rope access and technical rescue each solve the same problems differently. Blending them gives your team more than one way out when the first plan will not work.

  • We can come to you

Courses run at your facility or a site we arrange around the area, so your crew stays in service and you are not paying travel and lodging on top of tuition.
